Our students are often thirsty for more. Just because the final bell rings doesn’t mean we are finished. Extracurricular programming provides exciting opportunities for our students to try new activities or delve deeper into areas of passion.

Webb JD

Webb JD is aiming to be an organization that brings current students into contact with legal professionals (lawyers, judges, etc.) for the purpose of learning through their experiences. Although Webb JD is not a class, it is also not a club; and because of that, we expect a strong commitment* outside of the classroom from our students as they learn from members of our Webb community. This is where you come in. We are asking for any parent or alumnus/na currently working in the legal field to consider participating in this program by:

Speaking to the Webb JD group about your career and sharing your perspectives and advice.
Participating in a career fair where you will describe your career to students and network with upper-level students.
Allowing a student to "job shadow" or intern with you.
Volunteering as a coach for our Mock Trial team.

This is a preliminary outline for our plans. We firmly believe that with the immense pool of knowledge and experience found in and around the Webb community, Webb JD can become not only a successful program, but also a long-lasting staple of a Webb education for years to come.

*By joining the program, students would be committing to regular attendance and participation in scheduled events.
