Why Philanthropy Matters

Greetings from the Development Team,

Like all independent schools, Webb depends on the generous support of our community of parents, alumni, grandparents, trustees, and special friends to help us in our mission of educating students in extraordinary ways.

Webb was founded in 1955 with 4 students in the basement of Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian church. By 1958 Webb’s first fundraising campaign was underway to build the current campus that our school calls home. This strong tradition of giving from the day the school was founded has helped Webb maintain its first-rate facilities and attract bright and motivated students and teachers to our school.

This same culture of philanthropy that helped start Webb School continues to this day in our current fundraising and volunteering programs.  Your generous support today ensures Webb’s ability to offer an exceptional educational experience for our current students and future generations. Every single student who attends Webb is assisted by teachers who inspire them, parents who support them, and donors who believe in contributing to our mission.

I hope you will take a moment on our website to review the many ways your philanthropy can help Webb serve our students.  We are grateful for your support.

With Gratitude,
