Endowment Giving

An endowment gift is a gift that keeps on giving. Endowments provide permanent, self-sustaining sources of funding for Webb School. They are similar to a savings account or investment fund that generates income from the investment of the principle. When a gift is made to the endowment, that money is invested and allowed to grow and produce income. The income from the endowment is then used for daily operating expenses at the school or for a purpose that the donor specified, such as scholarships or support of a specific school program.

Endowments may be created for a variety of purposes, including curriculum innovation, student scholarships, program sponsorship, or facility and grounds enhancement. Specific donation amounts are required to establish an endowed fund.
