Camp Registration & Login

At Camp Webb there is a lesson to be learned around every corner – at the top of the climbing wall, on the archery range, walking along a wooded trail, on the basketball court. All of these lessons help prepare your children to make better life decisions while they’re having fun.
Registration for Camp Webb 2018 will open March 21st at 12:00 PM

Everyone is welcome to attend Camp Webb. Campers do not have to be Webb School students and are admitted without regard to race, gender or ethnic background.

Camp Weeks
Campers may sign up for any combination of weeks. Partial weeks are not allowed.

Registration: CREDIT CARDS are the only method of payment accepted when using our quick and easy online registration. At the time of registration, you have a choice about how to reserve a space in a camp. You may pay the full tuition or pay the required deposit by multiplying the number of camps your campers will attend by the $50 deposit. If you only pay the deposits, the balances are due at least two weeks before the start of the camp. Example: 1 camper who is registering for 3 camps would pay a deposit of $150. The deposit is nonrefundable, but will apply to the tuition of the camp. If balances are not paid by the camp date, your credit card will be charged for the camp(s) balance. Note: If it is within two weeks of the start of the camp you must pay in full for that camp.

To pay by check, cash, or money order, you must print out the registration forms and mail them with your payment to Camp Webb, 9800 Webb School Lane, Knoxville, TN 37923. If your check is returned for insufficient funds, we will charge you what the bank charges us (currently, that amount is $35.) All future payments must be made in cash.

Tuition is all-inclusive (unless otherwise stated). There are no extra charges for lunch, supplies or equipment, and every camper gets a Camp Webb T-shirt.

CHANGE FEE
• Any changes to a camper’s schedule must be made in writing by sending an email or using a Camp Webb change form. No phone calls please.
• A change is defined as switching to another camp within the same week or to a different week of camp.
• If a change is requested between ten (10) and five (5) working days before the first day of the camp, there is a $25 change fee.
• A change made within five (5) working days of the first day of the camp will incur a $50 fee. Please refer to the Fee/Date Schedule. There are no exceptions.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Amount of refund is determined by means and timing of notification.

Means: Requests to cancel a camp must be made in writing. Notify us of a camp cancellation by sending an email or using a Camp Webb change form. No phone calls or voice mails.

Timing: No refunds will be given, nor will the deposit be transferable, if the request to cancel is received after the cut-off date and/or in a phone call or voicemail. Please refer to the 2017 Fee/Date Schedule below for specific dates.

If cancellations are made before the cut-off date and in writing, families have 2 options:
Option A: Add another week of camp and don’t lose your deposit! The required deposit may transfer if another session is added to a camper within the family, but it can never be applied to a family balance.
Option B: Get a partial refund. A partial refund equal to the cost of the camp minus the $50 nonrefundable deposit will be issued. The required deposit still may not be applied to a family balance.

In order to be fair to all camp families, there are no exceptions to this policy. This is for any reason, including vacation plan changes, sickness or injury.
• If Camp Webb must cancel a camp for any reason, applicants will receive a full refund.
• Refunds will be processed at the end of the summer. There are no refunds for Aftercare, as refunds hinder our ability to staff this service.
T-SHIRT
Each camper will receive one free T-shirt per summer.

Lunch
Tired of getting up every morning and throwing together lunches in a lunch box? We provide lunch and it’s included in the cost of all camps! Campers and staff cool off together in the cafeteria and enjoy a nutritious, hot lunch. We also offer a salad bar, deli sandwich bar, fresh fruit, and the trusty peanut butter and jelly sandwich. In addition, we are a “nutaware” camp, and work with families when children have specific allergies.

Nurse
A nurse is on site and available every day of the Camp Webb season. Our nurse will call you if your camper comes to visit and requires more than minor medical attention. The nurse is here to dispense medication when required, provide first-level health care if needed, and TLC all the time! Our ultimate goal is to be proactive and to practice prevention by safeguarding against accidents and illness as much as possible.

Pick-up Requirement
To speed up the pick-up process without jeopardizing the safety of Camp Webb campers, we require that you or the person you have authorized in our system to pick up your child be prepared to show a picture ID to sign your child out.

“SunSense”
Most summers are hot here in East Tennessee; therefore, exposure to the heat and sunlight is something we are constantly monitoring. Please have your child bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Staff will make sure there are frequent water breaks and that sunscreen is applied often (especially for outdoor camps). Campers are in the shade whenever possible on especially hot and humid days.

Footwear
Sturdy shoes are especially important, as campers will be active during the day. Flip-flops, Crocs and open-toed shoes are strongly discouraged. Please wear sneakers.
 
Discount
Families with multiple siblings attending Adventure Camp in the same week are eligible for a discount. The first child attends for the full tuition, while each additional child may attend for a 10 percent discount. Please note this discount does not apply to Specialty and Sports Camps or Camp Wonderoo.
 
Personal Property
Bringing certain items to camp may disrupt the flow of the camp and program. The following items, and those similar to them, are not allowed in any camp programs, including Aftercare: electronic games or game cards, personal listening devices, headphones, or collectibles.
 

Extended Camp Day Options
EARLYCARE: Campers may be dropped off at camp, starting at 7:30. There is no fee for morning supervision as there will be no organized activities. Campers and staff enjoy each other’s company and sometimes an UNO tournament breaks out! At 8:30, campers will be escorted to their camp’s drop-off location.

MINI CAMPS: These camps are mini-versions of our Sports Camps. Mini Camps are three-hour camps, designed to provide campers with some more specialized choices in the afternoon as an alternative to Aftercare. Mini Camp hours are 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. An array of activities of varying specialties is available. Please go to pages 16 and 17 for additional details.

AFTERCARE:
Campers who cannot be picked up at the end of their camps may stay for extended supervision for an additional charge. Aftercare provides a variety of choices for campers during their afternoon time. Socializing on the playground, participating in sports activities in the gym or on the basketball courts, or getting creative with various craft projects are some of the many things available to campers. At Camp Webb’s Aftercare, children can form new friendships and strengthen old ones during structured downtime. Aftercare is offered on a weekly or daily basis. The hours are from 2:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Campers must be entering kindergarten-eighth grade.

Cost: Daily - $20 or Weekly - $50 (three days or more). You may sign your camper up for Aftercare at the time of registration or on the day you need it!
