Webb’s Hunter Green Commits to Play Football at Virginia Tech

Webb School of Knoxville senior quarterback Hunter Green has committed to play football at Virginia Tech. Family, friends, teammates, faculty, and staff gathered in Webb’s Lee Athletic Center, February 13, for a celebration ceremony for Green.

A three-year starter and senior captain for Webb’s Spartan varsity football team, Green has thrown for 2,396 yards and 27 touchdowns during his high school career. He has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom and is an AP Scholar. 

In addition, Green is a three-time All-Region player and earned All-State honors for his performance during the 2016 season, including leading his Spartans to the 2016 Division II-A state championship game.
