The Webb School experience embodies more than outstanding academics. Our students actively participate and take on leadership roles in extracurricular activities, community service, athletics, the arts, international programs and more.
Over the last few years, Webb School has hosted students from Ukraine, Slovakia, Brazil, Thailand, Germany, Turkey, and Italy. Students stay with Webb host families over a period of 10 months. For the 2015-2016 school year, Webb is hosting a Rotary student from France. He will spend a year studying at school, improving his English skills, and traveling and learning more about American culture.
In addition to hosting an international student at Webb each year, we encourage Webb students to consider spending an academic year abroad through Rotary International. We have sent students to Germany, Slovakia, France, Switzerland, South Korea and Finland through Rotary's Youth Exchange program.

The Interact Club
Webb is proud to host an Interact Club, the high school arm of Rotary International, the world’s oldest service organization. Approximately 50 Upper School Webb students have become members of the Interact Club and participate in a year of projects and service learning both in the Knoxville community and overseas (such as India, Hungary, South Africa). Students meet on a regular basis and work closely with the Rotary Club of Knoxville, Webb’s Interact Club sponsor.
Webb-Interact Accomplishments Each year Interact students volunteer at events such as Flu Shot Saturday; attend the RYLA leadership camp; highlight the plight of polio victimes; write letters to troops overseas; hold a shoe drive for Soles4Souls; and host a big dinner and auction each year to raise money to support projects in a slum school in Chandigarh, India, an orphanage in Mateszalka, Hungary, and children's projects in South Africa. The students are looking forward to working with Rotarians over the upcoming year and serving their local and global communities.
