Dr. Jason Hall '94- Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Hall grew up in Knoxville, where my father spent almost his entire career in the private practice of cancer surgery after starting the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in the late 1970’s. As a child, he loved listening to him talk about his job, and he loved the passion his father had for his work and for his patients. From an early age, he knew he wanted to be a doctor.

After graduating from The Webb School of Knoxville, he spent 8 years in North Carolina, 7 years in Texas, and a year in Palo Alto, CA before he began my career in plastic surgery. He half-jokingly told his nephew he finished the 28th grade after I finished my fellowship at Stanford. Until May of 2015, he was in private practice in Houston, TX and then moved back to Knoxville with his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Hall attended Wake Forest University, then went onto Wake Forest University School of Medicine for medical school. He did his General Surgery Residency  at UT Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Hospital and his Plastic Surgery Residency at UT Houston Medical School/Texas Medical Center – both in Texas.  Additional, Dr. Hall completed a craniofacial Surgery Fellowship: Stanford University School of Medicine/Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital in CA.

"Attending Webb School had an enormous impact on my life and the direction that it took. I arrived at Webb as a freshman after the unexpected death of my father the year prior followed by a sudden move to Knoxville, away from the friends and support that I had known up to that point."
