Applying to Webb School.
As your family explores the many school options in the greater Knoxville area, Webb School and the Admissions Office look forward to sharing our vision of what we feel an extraordinary educational experience should be. Our team is committed to making this process both enjoyable and informative for your family. The step-by-step guide below will explain our application process. Lower School
Pre-K
- Step 1: Complete Online Application

Step 1: Complete Online Application
Our Online Application sees to gather basic information about your student, family, and how the student could be a match for Webb School. All applications and supporting documents will be submitted online through SchoolAdmin using the account you create when completing your application. The application fee is $75.
Applicants for 2021-2022 must turned four prior to August 15, 2021.
Step 2: Submit Supplemental Materials
After you submit the online application, you will gain access to your application checklist which details all required materials. Evaluation forms can be sent via email from the checklist. The following forms are required for Pre-K applicants:
Pre-K Readiness Evaluation (completed by a parent)
Personal Reference Form
Teacher’s Evaluation (if applicable)
School Administrator’s Evaluation (if applicable)
School Report/Transcript (if applicable)
Step 3: Take Part in a Student Admissions Assessment
Each student applicant attends an assessment led by Lower School faculty and administrators. You are able to schedule your child’s assessment date via the application checklist.
Following your child’s assessment, you will meet with a member of the Lower School administration, to discuss your child’s assessment feedback and observations as well as give you an opportunity to ask any further questions.
Kindergarten

Step 3: Schedule an ISEE Test
Each student applicant must take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). You can register for the ISEE test at www.iseetest.org. Students can also practice the exam on ISEE’s website to help them prepare for the exam. For students applying to grades 10-12th, Webb School will accept PSAT, ACT or SAT results in lieu of the ISEE.
