where you become you

In Webb’s Middle School, students embark on a journey of self-discovery and navigating new responsibilities. These years are filled with academic challenges, social growth, and personal exploration. Supported by dedicated teachers and a close-knit community, students are inspired to ask bold questions, embrace new experiences, and take healthy risks. Whether they’re programming robots, shining on stage, leading service projects, or scoring goals on the soccer field, students make pivotal strides in gaining confidence, building character and resilience, and connecting with their true selves.

purpose in every step

Our Middle School teachers do more than guide students through academic subjects – they guide them through a pivotal stage of growth. With an in-depth knowledge of adolescent development and a gift for cultivating meaningful connections, our faculty create classroom environments where exploration thrives, questions drive learning, and students feel empowered to reach further.

At this stage, strong relationships matter more than ever. Webb’s Middle School educators earn their students’ trust and invite them to take healthy risks, helping them gain the courage to stretch beyond what they thought possible. Whether teaching algebra or being there for a student when they've had a tough day, our teachers show up with care, consistency, and a deep belief in each learner’s potential.

guidance that grows

The Middle School’s Advisory program is a consistent and caring presence in each student’s day. More than just a scheduled period, it’s a trusted home base where students feel known, valued, and connected as they navigate the important transition between childhood and adolescence.

Every student is part of a small Advisory group led by a dedicated faculty member who serves as a steady adult advocate throughout the year. While academics remain central, advisors also support students’ social, emotional, and organizational development, helping them build habits and mindsets that prepare them for success both now and in the years ahead.

MIDDLE SCHOOL ADVISORY: EVERY STUDENT KNOWN

  • Daily structure & support: Advisory meets every day, offering a built-in check-in point for students to stay grounded, ask questions, and get organized before or after classes.
  • Trusted adult connection: Advisors serve as the main touchpoint for both students and families, helping to monitor progress and offering encouragement or intervention when needed.

  • Belonging & community: Advisory groups create smaller communities within the school, where students form friendships, participate in group discussions, and learn from shared experiences.

  • Whole-child focus: Through intentional conversations and activities, the program reinforces Webb’s commitment to supporting each student’s academic, personal, and social well-being.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Academic support in Webb’s Middle School starts with strong teacher-student relationships, laying the groundwork for academic success. Our educators take the time to understand how each student learns, offering steady guidance, structure, and encouragement. In addition, with dedicated help sessions built into the schedule, students are given the time, space, and resources to revisit material, ask questions, and stay on track – so they feel equipped to work through challenges and excel.
