New School President Announcement

On September 22, 2022, Webb School of Knoxville’s Board of Trustees announced the appointment of Dr. Ansel Sanders as the school’s next President, effective July 1, 2023. A graduate of Washington and Lee University (B.A., 2004, magna cum laude), Johns Hopkins University (MAT, 2006), Furman University (M.A.Ed., School Leadership, 2009), and the Harvard Graduate School of Education (Ed.L.D., 2015), he currently serves as Assistant Headmaster and Dean of Students at Woodberry Forest School in Virginia, a boarding school for boys in grades 9 through 12 and one of the top boarding schools in the United States.
