Before you read about the new sports and specialty camps we are offering this year, or before you get excited about the giant “swingshot” on the Adventure Camp’s ropes course, I encourage you to read this page to help you understand our program, so that you feel comfortable about having your child spend time growing in the Camp Webb community this summer.

MISSION STATEMENT:Camp Webb is a summer camp community where young people can safely experience personal growth and development by participating in fun and educational programs alongside peers, and under the guidance of a staff of responsible young adults and professional educators. Camp Webb’s goal is to provide your child with a safe, fun and enriching experience during the summer season. (NOW STAY WITH ME)
ABOUT CAMP WEBB AND YOUR CHILD I believe wholeheartedly in the value of the summer camp experience, especially in today’s world. Children can enjoy new challenges as they learn more about other people and themselves. Children (in fact, people of all ages) learn better when they’re having fun—and summer camp is fun. It’s as simple as that.
Children have fun when...
...they form positive relationships with other kids and adults;
...they feel safe;
and...they are learning.
Camp Webb is shaped by the leaders we have running our programs. The specialty camps are led by professional educators and local artisans. Our sports camps have some of the highest quality coaches in the area, including current and former professional players and coaches. The Adventure Camp staff is a team of responsible, creative, mature, fun-loving young adults who have been through an extensive training program with me. All of these people are here because they want to influence children in a positive manner.
HAVING SAID ALL THAT…thank you for considering Camp Webb for your child this summer! I’m sure that you’ll find programs that your child will enjoy.
